Lewis and Louisa will be exhibiting their rag rugs in a gallery called The Ingrid Flute Gallery in Ravenscar, up on the cliff overlooking Robin Hood’s Bay, North Yorkshire. The event will take place over the week-end beginning 24th May 2019.

TEN YORK CRAFTERS are having another three-day exhibition – “Mainly Rag Rugs” – at their usual venue – York Cemetery Chapel. Admission free.
This selling exhibition will display the work they have done during the past 2 years. They have been meeting weekly since 1988, and have been showing their work regularly since then in these beautiful surroundings.
Besides rag rugs there will be spinning, weaving, crochet work, printing on both paper and cloth, knitting, basketry, felting and hand-made Knick-knacks of all kinds, besides other items for sale such as cards, wooden spoons decorated with pyrography and rag rug-making materials.
The three-day exhibition will be just late enough in the year to start thinking about Christmas!

10 YORK CRAFTERS will display and sell their work in this magnificent space. The exhibition will include, besides rag rugs: wall-hangings, baskets, prints, pyrography, knitting, tapestry weaving, spinning, painting and crochet work.
10 YORK CRAFTERS have been exhibiting their work at the Cemetery Chapel, York, since 1994. They have recently changed the time of year, the frequency and the duration of their shows, but you will find the same friendly atmosphere, the rag rugs hung round the walls, the other craftwork for sale on stalls, and a large table in the middle where you are welcome to come and try your hand at rag rug-making, or come with your own work to spend an hour or two with the group's members over a cup of tea.

Members of 'Ten York Crafters' will be on hand to demonstrate and instruct anyone who would like to learn about rag rug making, and materials will be on sale. All rag rug makers are welcome to come and work with us in groups or singly.
